Offered for auction in this lot is a Jason Thompson professional model H&B Louisville Slugger. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger has its model M110 stamped on the barrel along with the player's last name in block letters and the Louisville Slugger 125 1980-83 period center brand.
This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces and measures 34.5" in length. The bat has a round barrel & regular knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits heavy use with heavy ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, pine tar and a handle crack at 4" with some separation.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use, 1 point for a documented uniform number and loses 1 point for the handle crack resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
