1980 Chris Bourjos San Francisco Giants Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A6) Autographed by Willie Stargell

Featured in this lot is a Chris Bourjos professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his lone major league season with the San Francisco Giants in 1980. Model S321 is stamped on the signature model barrel. Hall of Fame slugger Willie Stargell, who was nearing his career's end in 1980, has signed the barrel in black marker along with the inscription "My Very Best."

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a round barrel and regular knob. Signs of light use are scattered throughout. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records and 1 point for use resulting in a final grade of MEARS A6.
