1979 Thurman Munson New York Yankees Original Photo & Last Game (August 1st, 1979) Ticket Stub Collection - Lot of 3

Offered is a collection of three items dating to legendary New York Yankees catcher Thurman Munson's final season and game. Included are a ticket stub from the August 1, 1979 game at Comiskey Park which marked the last time Munson would take the field, going 0-1 with a walk and a strikeout. Also included are two original 9" x 11.75" photos of Munson at the plate in Comiskey Park during the same season, though they likely date to the Yankees' April 13-15 series in Chicago as Munson's final series consisted of three night games.
