1979-82 Joe Lavender Washington Redskins Game Worn Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Joe Lavender sure knew how to exit in style. His final year in the NFL resulted in a Super Bowl title, albeit as a backup.

The two-time Pro Bowler wore this size "L" Champion-made jersey during the latter stages of his career. The mesh pullover features acceptable cornerback use with a hit mark on front and some light staining on the reverse. A few minor stains appear on the front as well, which may be washed out blood. The identifiers are created in single-color burgundy tackle twill and "LAVENDER" is applied to a nameplate on the reverse.

Sewn in the tail is a Champion size "L" tag and undecipherable flag tag. Ribbed burgundy/yellow/burgundy colors surrounds the crossover V-neck on front. Stripes are heat pressed on the sleeves.
