1978 style Jim Rice Boston Red Sox Retail Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA) MVP Season

Offered is a Boston Red Sox home jersey which was the style worn by Hall of Fame slugger Jim Rice during his Al MVP campaign with the club. McAuliffe manufacturer tag (post 1980) sewn in collar along with a size 44 box tag while a 1978 year tag is sewn to the tail adjacent to the laundry instructions. "Red Sox" and uniform number 14 are sewn to the white knit jersey in red on navy double tackle twill while Rice has signed the front in blue marker. This style of jersey with the borderless tag was issued post 1980 and could be purchased from the McAuliffe company as a retail shirt. (64R0383)
