1978 Sadaharu Oh Game Used 790th HR Game Jun Ishii Professional Model Japanese Baseball Bat (MEARS LOA) EX Danny Walton Collection

Offered is a Sadaharu Oh style professional model Jun Ishii Super Grade baseball bat manufactured in Japan. Bat currently measures 34.5". weighs 33 ounces and shows light use with scattered markings, a cupped barrel, two tone handle and "Made For Special Order" factory stamped on the knob. Bat originates from the collection of Danny Walton who played for the Yokohama Taiyo Whales of the Japan Central League in 1978, the same league as Oh's Yomiuri Giants. Bat was gifted to Danny Walton after hitting his 790th HR, letter of provenance from son stating this is the HR bat. THIS WAS NOT the bat Oh used to hit the actual homerun, but a bat that had been used by Oh and gifted to Walton after the game. Oh had great respect for Danny Walton and they were good friends. Oh also gifted the actual HR bat to Walton, who sold it several years ago via auction. (BAT RELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYMENT) (76Z0163)
