1978 Jo Jo White Boston Celtics Dual Signed Home Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a Boston Celtics home jersey dating to circa Jo Jo White's final season with the team in 1978. Wilson size 44 & 3 inch extra length tags sewn to tail while "Celtics", number 10 and "White" are also sewn to the white mesh jersey. Jo Jo has also signed both the front & back in black marker. During this time frame Sand Knit supplied the Celtics with their regular season jerseys. Original consignor was told at the time of the acquisition that the jersey was used during preseason training camps, which may explain the Wilson tagging. Jersey originated from the personal collection of Ed Borash, a Boston area printer that supplied the team. Mr. Borash maintained several long term relationships with many Celtics and NBA players.
