1977 Willie Stargell Pittsburgh Pirates Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A5)

Hall of Famer and career Pirates great Willie Stargell ordered this 32-ounce, 34-inch H&B signature model bat for use in the 1977 season. The ash bat has a natural finish and the model number K44 imprinted on the barrel.

The bat matches Stargell's known factory records, but shows no signs of use save for light ball marks and Stargell's uniform number (8) written in Roman numerals ("VIII") on the knob in black marker.

Comments: Factory records indicate Willie Stargell ordered these bats during the 1977 season.
