Offered is a replica Oscar award standing just over eleven inches tall with a plaque reading "The Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences hereby presents to Richard Kent Gottlieb this award for Best Documentary Ali - The Man, Myth and Legend April 12, 1977." We believe this to be a custom trophy as the 1977 Oscar Awards ceremony was held on March 28 with Harlan County USA taking home the statue for Best Documentary. (67U0002)
