1977-80 Seattle Mariners Inaugural Style Unused Game Cap (MEARS LOA)

Granted an expansion franchise, the baseball hungry Washington replaced the Pilots with the newly minted Mariners. Offered is the original cap design. Supplied by New Era, the manufacturer tag is found on the leather interior band. Size 7 3/8 tag is attached next to the New Era tag. Cap does not appear to be worn and is in near mint condition. Inaugural season related items are quickly disappearing from the market place as interest in team collecting increases. (N0572)
