1976-77 John Lowenstein/Andre Thornton Cleveland Indians Game Worn Alternate Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Cleveland Indians alternate jersey which was originally issued to John Lowenstein for the 1976 season. Wilson size 44 tag sewn in collar with a 76 year tag while "Indians", number 29, "Thornton" and a team logo patch are also sewn to the red knit pullover. Outline of removed Bicentennial patch visible on right sleeve with a team instituted name change on the reverse indicating jersey was likely carried over for use by Thornton during the 1977 season.
