Lot #451:

1974-83 Roger Maris New York Yankees Multi Signed OAL (Mac Phail) Baseball - JSA

Roger Maris shunned the spotlight during his career and never lived long enough to go on the autograph circuit.

This leaves a severe shortage in his autographs. Presented is a multi-signed OAL (MacPhail) baseball including the signatures of Tony Oliva (sweet spot), Steve Trout, Joe Sewell, Ken Keltner and Maris.

The Maris penning rates about "6-7" in strength while the others are a notch higher. Our guess is this orb was game used as there soil marks apparent.
