Offered for auction in this lot is a Mickey Mantle Adirondack team index bat. The bat's model, 288D, is visible on the knob and the barrel reads Mantle Type above the Adirondack 302 center label.

This ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces and measures 34" in length. The bat has a round barrel & regular knob and matches team index records. The finish of the bat has experienced significant flaking and the Mantle barrel stamp has 50% damage.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
