While he didn't grab the headlines like Johnny Bench or Pete Rose, Tony Perez was a key cog in the Big Red Machine.
When a big hit was needed, inevitably, Perez almost always came through when the stage was its biggest. Even team president Bob Howsam admitted he erred by trading Perez following the 1976 season.
From Perez's tenure in Cincy is this size "7 1/4" helmet. A few scratches are shown on the red plastic head wear. A Reds team insignia is placed on front while "PEREZ" is dymo labeled on the reverse. Another label appears to have been on back but it was lost.
The inside includes an American Baseball Cap size tag. We have checked and this is a correct size for Perez during his Hall of Fame career.
Perez signed on front in black felt tip.
