1969 Washington State Game Worn Suspension Football Helmet w/100 Years College Football Decal (MEARS LOA)

College football celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1969.

Before pro football was given top billing in our gridiron-filled hearts, it was college football which we craved.

Washington State paid special tribute to college football's big anniversary by wears a 100 decal. This Washington State gamer shows the rigors of Saturday afternoon battles. The 100 decal has some chipping and shows great overall use.

The suspension "padding" is still intact and the leather jaw pads still in-place. "Riddell" and "Kra-Lite" are stamped into the reverse. No player number or identification is visible on the inside.
