Very significant photo of Kareem Abdul Jabbar, then known as Lew Alcindor, is this 11 1/2" by 15" matted piece. Kareem also added a perfect blue felt-tip signature on this photo that shows the great basketball Hall of Famer signing his Milwaukee Bucks contract, with head coach Larry Costello and general manager John Erickson looking on. The photo has the proper stampings from the Milwaukee Journal library on the back, in addition to the original caption that ran on April 3, 1969. The actual black and white glossy image measures at 7" by 11". Estimate $125
