J. Edgar Hoover had plenty of issues to deal with during his reign as the FBI's first director. The mafia and numerous probes were central themes of Hoover's inclusion in the FBI.

This 6 1/2" x 8" photo (matted to a white backing) is signed by Hoover in black ink and personalized.

The penning is dated "4-4-68".
