1968 Detroit Tigers Cleveland Indians OAL Cronin Game Used Baseball (MEARS LOA) Attributed to Jim Northrup Grand Slam

Offered is a Reach Official American League Joe Cronin baseball which was used during the Detroit Tigers 14-3 victory over the Cleveland Indians on June 24th 1968 at Cleveland Stadium. "Gran Slam June 24 off Fisher #5 in Cleve." handwritten on baseball with examination of the box score and Jim Northrup's home run log confirming he hit his fifth career Grand Slam on June 24th 1968 off of Eddie Fisher. This was Northrup's first of two Grand Slams in the game making him only the 6th batter at the time to have a two Grand Slam game. Heavy use with some discoloration and material loss in the area of the inscription.
