1968-69 Joe DiMaggio Oakland Athletics Game Worn Coaches Cap (MEARS LOA/DiMaggio Family Letter)

Offered is a white Oakland Athletics cap dating to Joe DiMaggio's tenure as a coach with the team circa 1968-69. Tim McAuliffe tag sewn to sweatband with size 7 1/8 and KM Pro Cap stampings while DiMaggio's uniform number 5 is written on the underside of the brim. Letter of provenance signed by DiMaggio's granddaughters, plus additional letters from Mastro & Legendary Auctions, plus two photos of DiMaggio wearing a similar style cap will also attend. Heavy wear with some missing material from the underside of the brim, though it is included with the cap. (87L0123)
