Offered is a California Angels jersey which was donned by hurler Jorge Rubio during his 1967 campaign with the California Angels. McAuliffe manufacturer tag sewn to tail along with box tails for the year of issue ('67) & size (44) and a felt swatch reading "Rubio". "Angels" is sewn to the front of the jersey in navy on red felt while Rubio's uniform number 37 is sewn to the reverse in the same fashion. Jersey shows heavy use, which considering Rubio only pitched 15 innings in 1967, indicates that the jersey was likely carried over for extended organizational use. (61O0251)
