Offered is a Chicago White Sox road jersey donned by hurler John Buzhardt during his tenure with the club in 1967. MacGregor size 42 tag sewn in the collar while laundry instructions and Set 1 1967 tags are sewn to the interior placket. Chicago is sewn to the front of the jersey in blue tackle twill with White Sox embroidered in white. Writing in faded marker present adjacent to the MacGregor tag in the collar indicates likely extended organizational use after Buzhardt was sold to the Baltimore Orioles on August 21st of 1967. Number 30 and Buzhardt have been restored to the jersey. Heavy use shown with soiling apparent throughout and team repairs present on the reverse around the name application. (61O0158)
