1966 Clarence Pants Rowland Chicago White Sox Signed Cubs Official Program - JSA

Clarence Pants Rowland received his unforgettable nickname as a youth. Rowland was the skipper who steered the Chicago White Sox to the 1917 World Series title. He was gone following the 1918 campaign and spared from the infamous Black Sox scandal. Later in his career Rowland became an American league umpire for seven years before becoming the president of the Pacific Coast League from 1944-51.

This 1966 Cubs official program is signed by Rowland in blue ballpoint. The penning is dated "8-7-66" as well.
