1966-68 Jimmy Piersall Boston Red Sox Signed Home Jersey (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a 1966-68 Boston Red Sox home jersey which has been signed in black marker by 1950's era star Jimmy Piersall, along with an inscription reading "To Larry Your Pal". A 1966-68 era Tim McAuliffe tag is sewn to the tail along with a size 42 flag tag, while the year tag has been removed and an embroidered "Piersall" swatch has been added for display purposes. "Red Sox" and number 37 are sewn to the jersey in red on navy double felt. Number 37 got a lot of traction during the 1966-68 window with wear and use by Guido Grilli, Lee Strange, Dan Osinski and/or Dave Morehead a possibility. (64R0254)
