Bob Gibson literally did it all when he shut down the hated Chicago Cubs Aug. 30, 1965. Gibson shut down the opposition and even clubbed a home run in a 3-0 win.

All of the game's particulars are captured (and we mean all) on this game-used orb. The line score is scripted across the sweet spot, pitchers and #16 Victory Gibson on the south panel and offensive stats on north panel.

Gibson signed a side panel in perfect blue ballpoint. The ball shows decent game use and is linked to one of the venerable Hall of Famer's 251 career wins. From Collection of MEARS Staff.
