Offered is a Spalding Official National League Warren Giles baseball which was retrieved by a lucky fan during batting practice prior to the Philadelphia Phillies 6-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on June 12, 1963. Hall of Fame Cardinals slugger Stan Musial has signed the sweet spot with a "#6 6-12-63 Sportsman's Park" inscription while "6-12-63 batting practice" is handwritten on an adjacent side panel.
