Papa Bear finally got another NFL championship when his Bears downed the New York Giants in 1963 title contest.

The everlasting image of the game is Halas getting congratulations from his players when the final gun sounded. This Wilson Thorpe Sporting Goods (Rozelle) football was used in the contest and then presented following the game. A Thorpe Sporting Goods stamp along with a Pete Rozelle facsimile signature appear on one panel.

The other side has "The Duke" branded on. The valve has been professionally replaced with a screw. While the name of who this was presented to is not visible, "World Champions - 1964 Bears 14 - Giants 10" is still visible in white paint. The ball shows decent use. The game was played Dec. 29, 1963 but most likely painted in '64, thus the '64 reference.

One of the few remembrances of Papa Bear's final stand.
