Lot #440:

1962 Topps Football Card Collection - Lot of 120 With 2 Fran Tarkenton RC

The 1962 Topps football card set has always been a challenge. Black borders and short printed cards made accumulating a set a virtual nightmare for cardboard enthusiasts.

From that set are approximately 120 cards. Moderate corner wear is visible on each card, a fate felt by all too many from that set. Highlighting this lot are two Fran Tarkenton rookie cards. One issue is GD while the second is VG and close to a notch up.

Most of the cards are GD to VG. Highlights include: Lou Groza (#32), (2) Forrest Gregg (#70), (2) Night Train Lane (#60), (3) Gino Marchetti (#8), Big Daddy Lipscomb (#133), Lenny Moore (#2), Sam Huff (#110), (2) Sonny Jurgensen (#115) and (2) John Brodie (#152).
