Mfg. in 1962, the year after the magical 1961 season, this board game features a killer lid that has a 12” full body shot of Maris swinging in his Yankee home pinstripes along with a 4x5 B&W head shot. Inside, there is a promo shot 5x7 and 28 ex-mt/nr-mt full body shot playing cards, each featuring Maris in uniform in a batting pose.  The game board also features two more pictures of Maris. Also included is the score board and a strike indicator.  All aprons are present and the corners are intact with 3 of 4 having some tape reinforcement. Overall, a great display in top condition for one of these usually rough board games and a great display piece. Collection of MEARS staff. Estimate $450
