1961-64 Roger Maris New York Yankees Mini-Bat & Mini-Pennant Rare Maris Black Bat

Roger Maris was the craze among baseball fans in the early 1960s. In 1960 Maris copped an AL MVP award and followed it up by beating Babe Ruth's single-season home run record.

From 1961-64 is this rare Maris black mini-bat (22"). There is some very light high edge paint wear on the handle and end of barrel but it remains in near mint condition with all of the brilliant silver foil print intact. Suspended off the knob is a Yankees mini-pennant from the same era that is near mint with a hint of minor toning. We have never seen another black and silver Maris mini bat from this or any other era. This would make one heck of a display piece.
