1961-63 Tony Kubek New York Yankees Adirondack Professional Model Team Index Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Tony Kubek professional model Adirondack team index bat from his time with the New York Yankees in the early 1960's. Model number 215S is stamped on the knob.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces and measures 32.75" in length with a round signature model barrel and regular knob. The length is not consistent with known Kubek examples leading us to believe it was a team index bat. It exhibits signs of heavy use with numerous ball marks throughout. The handle remains uncracked.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
