This is a block letter last name only P72 , autographed, that measures 34 ¼" and weighs 31.7 oz. The bat shows tons of game use with deeply embedded ball marks most of, which is concentrated above the barrel stamps. The 10" handle crack is a multiple directional crack that starts at the base of the 10" of white handle tape and runs towards center but does not reach into the center brand.
Jack Reed was an outfielder over parts of 3 seasons (1961-1963) with the New York Yankees. Reed was a member of the 1961 World Series champion Yankees. An alumnus of the University of Mississippi, for his career he hit .233 with 1 home run and 6 runs batted in 222 games played. He played outfield in three of the 1961 World Series games for the Yankees.
