1960s Green Bay Packers Cover Collection From Vern Biever Collection

There was one constant on the Green Bay Packers sidelines for some 65 years - Vernon Biever. The photographer from Port Washington was there for the likes Curly Lambeau, Vince Lombardi, Mike Holmgren and even was there for the earl stages of Mike McCarthy's run. All of the highs and lows were usually captured by Biever or his caypable sons, also accomplished photographers. Recently a number of treasures from the Vernon Biever Estate were made available to the public. MEARS was able to acquire a few of relics directly from the estate sale.

Offered are program, yearbook and media guide covers framed. Our guess is Biever shot each of these, thus the need to isolate them. Included are covers only of: 1967 VIkings media guide, 1966 Packers press guide, 1964 Packers yearbook, 1963 Men in Action, Pro Football Dell Sports program cover, Business Progress, 1956 Lions vs. Packers copy of cover, Ray Nitschke SPORT (12" x 11"), 1963 Men of Action, 1966 Packers yearbook with Willie Davis on front.
