There was one constant on the Green Bay Packers sidelines for some 65 years - Vernon Biever. The photographer from Port Washington was there for the likes Curly Lambeau, Vince Lombardi, Mike Holmgren and even was there for the earl stages of Mike McCarthy's run. All of the highs and lows were usually captured by Biever or his caypable sons, also accomplished photographers. Recently a number of treasures from the Vernon Biever Estate were made available to the public. MEARS was able to acquire a few of relics directly from the estate sale.
Undoubtedly, this was the biggest score of the Vern Biever estate. From the 1960s or '70s is this video camera owned by the greatest football photographer of them of all. Offered is a Filmo Auto Master video camera.
Imagine the footage shot by the legendary Packers team photographer when he used this. Who knows, the offering may have been used as a teaching tool for Biever's sons, both accomplished photographers. We are pleased to report the camera is still in working order. The original carrying case will attend. This memento truly belongs in the Packers or Pro Football Hall of Fame but will comfortably fit into the collection of one lucky bidder.
