This is a scarce signature model K48, 34”-30.9 oz. It exhibits significant game use with deep ball marks concentrated above the barrel stamp. There is an 8” crack in the barrel with 4 small nails now in place (-1). The markings are perfect and the bat grades an A7 due to the barrel crack.
Alex played for the Cardinals from 1954-56, then the Reds from 1956-58, back to the Cards 1959-62 and finally with the Cubs in 1962-63.
