Offered for auction in this lot is a Bob Bowman professional model H&B Louisville Slugger. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger has its model 01 stamped on the knob with a signature barrel and the H&B 125 1960-64 period center brand.
This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces and measures 35" in length. The bat has a round barrel & small knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits heavy use with heavy ball marks, bat rack marks and a handle crack at 15" with some separation which has been fixed with 4 screws.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use and loses 1 point for the handle crack resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.
