The physical appearance of the ball is consistent with other game used baseballs from the period that have been examined by MEARS. The side panel is simple signed, “Harvey Haddix”.
The ball originated from the collection of Dan Nero, and AP photographer. It was obtained by noted Milwaukee Collector and Physician Dr. Marc Lewis and is accompanied by his signed letter on his official stationary. Additional letter of authenticity from MEARS.
