Offered is a 35" signature model 123C that weighs 36.9 oz. Bat has perfect foil markings and shows moderate game use with stitch and surface marks concentrated on top of barrel. Bat remains uncracked. There are some dents on back of barrel. "C" series bats were not catalog models and their use in the major leagues is documented having seen several of this model as used by Whitey Ford in his World Series marked bats. Bat grades a MEARS A6 with 5 base points and 2 use points but minus 1 point for the back dents. Hodges was a Dodgers mainstay and is mentioned in the Hall of Fame voting every year.
