1954 Harry Agganis Signed 3 1/2" x 5 Post Card Boston Red Sox (JSA)

Offered is a signed former Boston Red Sox player Harry Agganis 3 1/2" x 5 Postcard that is postmarked July, 2 1954 from Lynn, Massachusetts - the hometown of Agganis. The postcard was originally obtained by Michael Sterr of Lomira, Wisconsin. Sterr also stamped July, 6 1954 on the back of the postcard. Agganis was a superstar baseball and football at Boston University and even was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the NFL draft - but opted to play with the Red Sox. Agganis had a short career and life as he died on June 27, 1955 at the age of 26. (57K0080)
