Offered is a signature model K55 that measures 35" and weighs 33.8 oz. Factory shipping records show the first shipment of this style bat having been sent to Bruton in July of 1954 where he continued to get similar type shipments through the 1960 season, all of which he was a star player with the Milwaukee Braves. There is a crack that extend through the handle to about 8" at it's longest point and at one time, very long ago, someone repaired the crack with some vintage black tape. There is heavy use evident on all hitting surfaces along with cleat marks about the barrel. The factory stamps are perfect. This Braves gamer has been autographed by several ex Braves players in black sharpie which includes: Johnny Logan, Gene Conley, Andy Pafko and Felix Mantilla. All of these players, including Bruton, were members of the Championship team of 1957.
