Offered is a Spalding Official National League Warren Giles baseball which was used during an exhibition game between the New York Giants and Cincinnati Reds on May 7, 1953 at the Polo Grounds. "Cincinnati 4 Giants 8 Game At Polo Grounds May 7 1953" handwritten on baseball. No record of an official game taking place between the teams on May 7, 1953 exists thus the exhibition game designation for the ball. (73A0255)
