1952-53 St. Louis Browns Home #24 Game Worn Cap – Rare Two Year Style (MEARS LOA)

Manufacturer’s marks are no longer visible. 6 panel cap sports a 9 stitch brim, white embroidered interlocking “STL”, and white crown button. Interior leather band has no size or manufacturer markings visible. Neatly penned underneath the front brim is “24”. Both Don Johnson (1952) and Clyde Vollmern (1953) wore the number during the caps style tenure. The sectional stitching of the leather band has come loose, but remains entirely intact. Some slight damage to the STL embroidery. Excellent overall condition. (N0564)
