1950s University of Nebraska Game Worn #40 Basketball Warm Up Jacket (MEARS LOA)

We can date the offered size "46" jacket to the 1950s by looking up the Wilson manufacture's tag in the vast MEARS database.

A wool exterior is accentuated with red/white ribbed material surrounding the collar, sleeve ends and tail. A Wilson manufacturer's tag is applied in the collar with a suspended size "46" label present.

"NEBRASKA" is arched across the back in single-color tackle twill while the left sleeve end has "40 applied.

Parade this beauty around Lincoln at games this fall and wait for the reaction.
