Offered is a circa 1950's Spalding model 1223 E-Z Flex Triple Play fielder's mitt which has been signed in black marker on the pinky by Hall of Fame Detroit Tigers second sacker Charlie "The Mechanical Man" Gehringer, who has also inscribed "H.O.F. 49" to commemorate his year of Cooperstown induction. Glove shows some wear though stampings remain legible and original blue, white and red Spalding manufacturer's tag is still firmly affixed. (G0156)
