Featured in this lot is a collection of 225 index cards which have been signed by a wide array of Hollywood personalities. Cards were obtained by our consignor via the old fashioned practice of sending self addressed stamped envelopes to the stars through the mail and awaiting their autograph in return. Movie stars, comedians, character actors, directors and the stars of our favorite television shows are all present in this offering. Most of the signatures appear on 3" x 5" index cards. These have not been submitted to JSA because of time restraints. They were collected by an autograph collector who sent out to celebrities through the years.
A partial listing of the signatures present here includes Dick Van Patten, Jonathan Winters, Alan Rickman, Jerry Stiller, Rob Lowe, Mariette Hartley, Erik Estrada, Sidney Lumet, Jimmy Dean, Julie Christie, Debbie Reynolds, Catherine O’Hara, Andrea Martin, Eileen Brennan, William Hurt, Heather Locklear, Richard Kind, John Forsythe, James Brooks, Ron Silver, Susan Sarandon, Tammy Grimes, Kathy Ireland, Michael Learned, Mel Brooks, Valerie Perrine, Julie Andrews, Christine Slater, Jon Voight, Claire Bloom, Andy Garcia, Eva Marie Saint, Emma Thompson, Polly Bergen, Burt Young, Robert Shields, Paul Schrader, Stacy Keach, Jackee Harry, Kevin Kline, Rich Hall, David Brenner, Hal Linden, Doc Severinsen, Ed Harris, Estelle Getty, Donna Murphy, Sid Caesar, Tom Brokaw, Linda Evans, Gloria De Haven, Deborah Winger, Samuel L.
