Offered is one of the rarest of all Hall of Fame and Brooklyn Dodger bats. Anybody reading this is aware of Roy Campanella and his brilliant stint as the starting catcher for the Bums until he suffered a severe injury from a car crash that left him paralized after the 1957 season.

Jackie Robinson's first season in the Major Leagues was in 1947 and Campanella began his Major League career with Brooklyn the following season, playing his first game on April 20, 1948. He went on to play for the Dodgers from 1948 through 1957 as their regular catcher. This bat dates to either 1950 or 1951 according to factory shipping records. The bat was favored by Campy was ordered several times from 3/15/50 through 5/16/51.

Campy received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the National League three times, the first of these dates to 1951, the era of this bat. He won again in 1953 and 1955. This rare bat is on just about every bat collectors want list and this one is a beauty and would be a centerpiece in any advanced collection.
