Offered is a Spalding Official National League Ford Frick victory baseball which was used during the St. Louis Cardinals 7-5 victory over the Boston Braves at Sportsman's Park on September 16, 1949. Myriad game details are noted on the ball while victorious Cardinals hurler Max Lanier has signed a side panel along with two signatures from Hall of Fame hurler Warren Spahn who took the mound and the loss for the Braves.
