Luke Appling (dec. '91) called Chicago home for his entire big league career. The Hall of Fame shortstop signed this OAL (Harridge) baseball during his playing days.

Appling singed a side panel and dated his signature to "7-14-49". There is even toning/dirt on the orb so it may have seen game use although we cannot confirm it.
