The Chicago Hornets competed in the All-American Football Conference. For three years they were known as the Rockets, but for their final campaign they were the Hornets. Following the '49 season, the league disbanded and a few joined the NFL. The Hornets didn't.

Offered is a program (Aug. 18, 1949) from the team's final season. The publication is complete although the staples have rusted somewhat. The roster page is intact but only held by one staple.

We would rate this as EX because of the the staple's oxidation and handling wear on cover.
