The offered cap has a vintage "16" written on the underside. Possible men who could have worn the cap include: Tod Davis (1949 and '51), Sherry Robertson ('52), Jack Littrell ('52) or Ed McGhee ('53-54).

Decent use is shown with a few breaks on the leather headband. One crack runs through the bill and has it in two pieces.

What makes this a keeper is that the cap was manufactured by Mitchell & Ness and their label is found (albeit partially missing) on the headband.
