1946 Ty Cobb Detroit Tigers Signed Check HOF (JSA)

Ty Cobb's signature is one of the most sought after in baseball. Offered is a 1946 signed Ty Cobb check from the First National Bank of Nevada. The check was written out on March 27, 1946 to C.C. Graber for $8.25. The check was signed Tyrus R. Cobb. Cobb, also known as "The Georgia Peach" had a career .366 average in 24 seasons (22 with the Detroit Tigers). Cobb has the second-most hits in baseball with 4,191 and has stolen home base a still-standing Major League record 54 times. (54H0082)
